Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Yokufy. By using Yokufy you agree to them. This is a starting template and should be reviewed by legal counsel before any real-money launch.

1. What Yokufy is

Yokufy is a software platform that lets customers send tips to service professionals and lets professionals build a portfolio of recognition. Yokufy is not a bank, payment processor, or money transmitter, and never takes custody of user funds.

2. Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe and settle directly to the professional's connected account. Your use of payment features is also subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe's terms. The customer covers processing and platform fees, shown transparently at checkout.

3. Professional accounts

Professionals must provide accurate identity and bank information through Stripe's onboarding, which performs identity verification (KYC). You are responsible for any taxes on tips you receive.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Yokufy for unlawful purposes, fraud, money laundering, or to misrepresent your identity or service. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Kudos and content

Kudos are tied to verified payments. We may remove content or revoke kudos associated with refunded, disputed, or fraudulent transactions.

6. Disclaimers

Yokufy is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yokufy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
